Who we are

Chudin Limited ("Chudin", "we") is a software company registered in Nigeria, RC 9656012, with its registered office at 19 Harmony Crescent, Baruwa, Ipaja, Lagos State. For anything in this policy, write to contact@chudin.tech. Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, Chudin is the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect, and why

Contact form. Your name, email address and the message you write. We use them to reply to you and, if you become a client, to set up the work. Legal basis: the steps you ask us to take before entering a contract. The message is delivered by email to our company mailbox, contact@chudin.tech, which is hosted by Zoho.

Free Audit tool. The website address you submit. Our server fetches that site's public pages and sends the page text, not your personal details, to an automated language-model service to produce the report. If you choose to leave your business name, email address and interest in a redesign after the audit, we store those on our server so we can follow up. Legal basis: your consent, which you give by submitting the form, and which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.

Functional cookie. The Free Audit tool sets one cookie, named chudin_audit_sid, holding a random identifier. It exists only to apply a fair-use limit on the number of free audits from one browser. It contains no personal information and is not used for advertising or tracking across other sites. It expires after about 13 months. You can delete it in your browser at any time.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.

Who else sees it

• Zoho Corporation hosts our email. Contact-form messages pass through and are stored in that mailbox.
• Vercel Inc. hosts this website and its server functions. Audit lead details are stored on Vercel's servers.
• Language-model provider (currently Groq, Inc.) receives the public text of websites submitted to the Free Audit tool. It does not receive your name or email.

These providers operate servers outside Nigeria, including in the United States. We rely on their published contractual commitments to protect personal data. We do not sell personal information, and we share it with no one else unless the law requires.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages stay in our mailbox for as long as the conversation or client relationship is live, and up to two years after it ends, then we delete them. Audit lead details are kept for up to twelve months unless you become a client. Server logs are kept by our host for a short rolling period.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to stop using it for a particular purpose, to give you a copy in a usable format, or to withdraw consent you gave earlier. Email contact@chudin.tech and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at ndpc.gov.ng.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to our mailbox and hosting accounts is protected by two-factor authentication. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, and if a breach ever affects your information we will tell you and the Commission as the Act requires.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page for 30 days.
